Coming This Saturday!
It’s been a while since we’ve had one of our regional Italian wine dinners, so to get back on track, we’re highlighting arguably the greatest wine-producing region in the country, Piedmont. On Saturday, March 14, Vico is teaming up with Fairview Wines & Spirits and Tradizione Imports to bring you a four-course tasting menu paired with four affordable small-production Piemontese wines. Lewis Dimm of Fairview and Stephen Strumza of Tradizione will be there to introduce these wonderful wines and answer your questions. And many of them will be available for order from Fairview.
Located in the hilly region at the foot of the Italian Alps, Piedmont is best known for producing the “kings” of Italian wines, Barolo and Barbaresco. But it also offers a panoply of other varieties, some better known than others, including Nebbiolo varietals, numerous Dolcettos, sweet and fizzy Moscato d’Asti and even robust whites such as Sauvignon Blanc.
We like to make things easy, so there’s no set seating, and while we will be offering the full menu and wine pairings as a $75 prix-fixe, the wines themselves will be available by the glass, and many of the dishes will also be available a la carte. To reserve, call us at 518.828.6529 or book your table online!
