All this month (August), Davis Orton Gallery will be presenting photographic works by Dima Gavrysh and Andrea Camuto.
“Inshallah (God willing in Arabic) is a project that explores the Soviet and American occupations of Afghanistan, and draws on my childhood fantasies that romanticize the military and intertwine with my past and present personal conflicts,” Gavrysh says of his installation.
Also at the gallery, the portfolios of David Gardner and Stan Raucher. At Davis Orton Gallery, 114 Warren Street.
